north-south over southern Vancouver Island.

At 4:00 p.m. PDT today frontal system located from Hecate Strait
to Cape Scott.
By 4:00 a.m. PDT Saturday weakening frontal system located over
the Central Coast.

Marine Weather Statement

Issued 3:50 PM PDT 31 May 2024 A frontal system will track across Hecate Strait tonight before
moving onto the North and Central Coasts. Southeast gales will
continue over northern coastal waters ahead of the front, then
Shift to moderate to strong southwest behind the front early this
evening.
